March block Hive 3

Here is my block for Carolyn. I had all sorts of problems with this, starting with an inability to cut my starting squares according to directions. It took me a long time and is still by no means perfect, but I hope Carolyn will like it and that the colors are what she was looking for.

I don't really have a favorite quilt block since I tend to prefer making up my own, but I do have a soft spot for things like lone stars and dahlias.
